Spinning the classic game show theme song from Merv Griffin, “Changing Keys” for 45 Friday.
It debuted in 1983 on “Wheel of Fortune” and was used for 17 years. Long live these catchy and jazzy theme songs!

Taking it way back with my 1970s Panasonic SG-123 record player keyboard!
Spinning Nu Shooz’s hit “I Can’t Wait” for that perfect retro synth vibe!

We need Mister Rogers now more than ever. Let’s spin & sing-a-long to “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” the classic theme song from “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood”.
The record is from 1973 as part of Mister Rogers’ Rainy Day Club with “A Place of My Own” on side B.
The Mister Rogers Rainy Day Club was a collection of music and media, including 7” vinyl records, associated with the children's television show Mister Rogers' Neighborhood and often featuring songs like "Tree Tree Tree" and "You're Growing".

What happens when you mix the Beastie Boys “Body Movin’” (Fatboy Slim Remix) in a 70 year old jukebox + the 90s music toy Body Rap? This.

I’ll take things I didn’t know existed for $1000….Macarena Teddy from 1997.

Dropping the needle on Black Star’s “Definition” as it spins inside my 72 year old jukebox. Shouts to Mos Def and Talib Kweli for this classic 90s hip hop track.

Great moments in jukebox history with Moe, Homer & Waylon.
From the Simpsons Season 6 episode “Fear of Flying,” when Moe pulls Homer’s beloved “It’s Raining Men” by The Weather Girls out of the jukebox.

Two musical legends gone way too soon. Thank you for the music, J Dilla and D’Angelo.
Now spinning: J Dilla, D’Angelo and Common “So Far To Go” from J Dilla’s album “The Shining”

The Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) turns 40 years old this week and what better way to celebrate than by spinning Ronnie Jones’ hit “Video Games” from 1980.
What’s your favorite NES game? For me it was Double Dribble.

The World Series starts this weekend between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays. I uncovered this extremely rare rendition of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” sung by Harry Caray in 1978 on 7” so let’s spin it!
HOLY COW!

Spinning a 7-inch vinyl of Harry Belafonte’s classic “Day-O (The Banana Boat Song)” on my vintage jukebox — paired with iconic clips from the Beetlejuice dinner party scene where the song steals the show.
If you love vinyl, jukeboxes, and 80s movies with Tim Burton’s signature weirdness, you’ll enjoy this mashup!
Happy Halloween!
Song: “Day-O (The Banana Boat Song)” – Harry Belafonte

We’rr taking it back to 1995 with the classic song from rapper Skee-Lo “I Wish.”
The single was certified gold in the US selling 600,000 copies and was up for a Grammy nomination.

Just got my hands on an awesome book called “Portables” from Dust & Grooves with more than 200 vintage portable turntables (A jukebox book from them would be great someday!).
Since I’ve got my own portable deck, a Panasonic SG-123, I figured it’d be fun to spin and attempt to play my most-played song of 2025, Christopher Cross “Ride Like The Wind” on this ‘70s synth-style turntable.

Who remembers the late ‘80s cartoon “Denver The Last Dinosaur”? Well, I found the theme song on a 7” record, but it’s in French.

Happy holidays y’all! I hope you have a great Christmas and gets lots of snow like this video.
Spinning Dean Martin’s classic holiday hit “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!”

Who ya got in this 90’s dance showdown?

- The Carpenters “Rainy Days & Mondays”

Stay safe out there.
Spinning Charles Bradley’s “The World (Is Going Up In Flames)”

You may have known the rap group Tag Team for Whoomp! There It Is, but how about a song on the”Gordy” movie soundtrack called “Pig Power”?
Enjoy this 90s relic on cassette single.

Happy DILLA Day as we celebrate 20 years of the classic album “Donuts” released on February 7, 2006.
I copped the 7” edition a few years ago as it was released on Stones Throw back in 2013.
Thanks J Dilla and all of your contributions to music. RIP.

Great Moments in Jukebox History dives into the times a jukebox didn’t just play a song… it changed a scene forever.
This episode: Dirty Work (1998). Chris Farley. A jukebox. And one very wrong song selection.

Spinning the A-Team theme song from Mike Post in the jukebox and included a special guest in the video 🐶

My top three ❤️ shaped 7” records to spread love this Valentine’s Day weekend.
1. Bobby Caldwell “What You Won’t Do For Love”
2. Mayer Hawthorne “Just Ain’t Gonna Work Out”
3. Force MDs “Tender Love”

Happy 63rd to the GOAT, Michael Jordan, as we celebrate with this 1984 7” record from the Bleacher Boys.
This song was created at DJ Records, a novelty record label based out of Chicago.
Now spinning The Bleacher Boys “Michael J. (The Michael Jordon Song)” on a portable turntable.

With the Oscars this weekend, I’m taking a look back at some of the songs that won Best Original Song at the awards show.
Here are three that were in the Hello Jukebox vault:
* Isaac Hayes “Theme From Shaft” (1972) from “Shaft”
* Stevie Wonder “I Just Called To Say I Love You” (1985) from “The Woman in Red”
* Vanessa Williams “Colors of the Wind” (1996) from “Pocahontas”
