Taking it way back with my 1970s Panasonic SG-123 record player keyboard!
Spinning Nu Shooz’s hit “I Can’t Wait” for that perfect retro synth vibe!

Just got my hands on an awesome book called “Portables” from Dust & Grooves with more than 200 vintage portable turntables (A jukebox book from them would be great someday!).
Since I’ve got my own portable deck, a Panasonic SG-123, I figured it’d be fun to spin and attempt to play my most-played song of 2025, Christopher Cross “Ride Like The Wind” on this ‘70s synth-style turntable.

Stay safe out there.
Spinning Charles Bradley’s “The World (Is Going Up In Flames)”

You may have known the rap group Tag Team for Whoomp! There It Is, but how about a song on the”Gordy” movie soundtrack called “Pig Power”?
Enjoy this 90s relic on cassette single.

Happy DILLA Day as we celebrate 20 years of the classic album “Donuts” released on February 7, 2006.
I copped the 7” edition a few years ago as it was released on Stones Throw back in 2013.
Thanks J Dilla and all of your contributions to music. RIP.

Great Moments in Jukebox History dives into the times a jukebox didn’t just play a song… it changed a scene forever.
This episode: Dirty Work (1998). Chris Farley. A jukebox. And one very wrong song selection.

My top three ❤️ shaped 7” records to spread love this Valentine’s Day weekend.
1. Bobby Caldwell “What You Won’t Do For Love”
2. Mayer Hawthorne “Just Ain’t Gonna Work Out”
3. Force MDs “Tender Love”

Happy 63rd to the GOAT, Michael Jordan, as we celebrate with this 1984 7” record from the Bleacher Boys.
This song was created at DJ Records, a novelty record label based out of Chicago.
Now spinning The Bleacher Boys “Michael J. (The Michael Jordon Song)” on a portable turntable.

Great moments in jukebox history with Moe, Homer & Waylon.
From the Simpsons Season 6 episode “Fear of Flying,” when Moe pulls Homer’s beloved “It’s Raining Men” by The Weather Girls out of the jukebox.

I’ll take things I didn’t know existed for $1000….Macarena Teddy from 1997.
